This year we have decided that all communication will be done through the school’s gmail portal.  All new teachers were given user names, and veteran teachers who were not using the school gmail were informed that they would now have to use it.

In addition, all 7th graders were given user names and instructed on how to use gmail.  All work and communication regarding their “ovodat shorashim” is to be done through gmail.

Manbas – as this is our first year with the manbas, teachers were instructed as a group and on a one to one basis on using the manbas.  After a lot of frustration, all teachers have succeeded in using the manbas for recording grades, absences, and tardiness.  Teachers will be gradually encouraged to use the other features of the Manbas.

School website and communication – every week the principal puts up a newsletter.  There is one version for teachers and another that is on the front page of the website.  All pupils and parents are invited to check in every week to see what is happening.
